Marathon....

Finally, I finished menu planning project, thanks for cooperation from all my group members. Really appreciate it. You guys did a good job. So I can have a chance to take a short break before preparing for final. All the best to all my friends…

Well, enough for that. I wanted to update about the barbeque night last two week, but I had no time since I was rushing for my group project. Our class had barbeque at East Cost Park on last Saturday, of course, our lovely course tutor, Ms Ong, also joining. And the most important is, all the foods of the barbeque were prepared by her. We bought Australia rib eye, lamb rack, pork loin, chicken wings, clam, prawn, squids, cheese sausages, sweet potatoes, shiitake mushroom, zucchini, eggplants, bell peppers, as our barbeque ingredient. We also had appetizer which is Dauphinoes potato (potato pie), and Salad Nicoise. The quality of foods that we had is as same as fine dine restaurant.

I’m not a lamb person because of the lamb smell and taste. But the lamb we had during the barbeque night was great, the taste of spices and herbs was nice, and the lamb is marinated with yogurt so that the “lamb taste” would not be so strong, and it can tenderize the lamb as well. The beef was just nice, succulent and tender. I like the pork loin though, marinated by using yogurt, orange, herbs. Mild flavor and full of orange flavor, refreshing!

Everyone was like a hungry ghost, so the barbeque haven’t started yet, the Dauphinoes was already empty once the aluminum foil was opened. Then the drinks was finished quite fast since our lovely classmate, Gabriel bought vodka and a whisky. Thanks for your sponsor. =)

We really had a great time, talk to each other, enjoy the wonderful food, and stayed until early wee hour in the morning. Once I got home, it was already 7:30am next morning. After took a shower, rest for while, and had to bring my auntie from Malaysia travel around in Singapore, until 11pm. I was look like a zombie after all.
