Makan-Makan trip 2

I went for some typical Malaysia food. It’s a lil but pricey since I had it in sophisticated restaurant. What would be the first come to your mind when you think of mouth-watering Malaysia foods? Roti Canai? Teh Tarik? Nasi Lemak? Chao Kui Teow? Asam Laksa? Yeah~~~ You’re right! I went for the most representational one – Nasi Lemak. The venue was Madam Kwan’s restaurant that is located in KLCC.

I ordered a Nasi Bojari and my friend just ordered a Nasi Lemak. I like the rice of Nasi Bojari cause the fragrance. The rendang beef was so tender that you don't even have to bite, the nyonya sambal prawn was not too hot and not too sour, just nice, the fried chicken drumstick was just so so. For the Nasi Lemak, if the rice is not fragrance and not flavor enough, then no matter how delicious the side dishes is, it's still cannot be considered as a good Nasi Lemak. Madam Kwan's Nasi Lemak was nice too, but the coconut milk in the rendang chicken was too strong for me. The sambal sauce was same with the nyonya sambal prawn of Nasi Bojari. I like the spicy vegetables---> "Ah Chak". It's a lil bit weird that they used the spicy chicken flossy serve with the Nasi Lemak. Neverthelss, it didn't affect the taste overall, yet the taste was quite unique when you eat with the spicy chicken flossy.

Then we ordered fresh mango juice and apple juice respectively. I had no comment on it since the juices were so so and pricey. I still prefer the 1 liter juices at the Subang Jaya mamak stall which is located near the Salmon Steak house. Cheap and nice! For those who always hangout in Subang Jaya should know where the mamak stall is.

Last but not least, we had a dessert which was fried banana with vanilla ice-cream. The banana fried until golden color was crispy but not too oily. There was some honey on the fried banana. It was so indescribable when you eat the very hot fried banana with the icy vanilla ice-cream. Can you imagine that the hot and cold are rolling in your mouth? Fantastic...
<------It looks not so presentable but it taste good.... Overall was still okay. Can give it a try but just once in a while since it's quite pricey just for a single plate of Nasi Lemak. I always read the newspaper stated that the economy was slump and inflation, and the increasing of poverty blah blah blah.... But when come to these sophisticated restaurant, you need to wait for like at least 15 minutes to be seated during the lunch time and dinner time. Live to eat? or eat to live? Oh oh... I bought some Vienna Bagels after the dinner. I don't like it. It's so hard that if you drop it on the floor, you would hear the sound "POP". The taste didn't give me a good impression. It looks nice but actually not... What a disappointed for my makan-makan trip ending!
